Master bedroom with double bed and  additional single bed, ensuite bathroom, with large corner bath, separate shower unit and dressing room/nursery with cot/bed. Triple bedroom with 3 single beds and en suite bathroom. Double bedroom, and family bathroom. Downstairs there is a double bedroom, shower room, dining room, kitchen, utility/boot room, sitting room with open fire and an octagonal sun room.

Oil fired central heating with additional heating from open fire in sitting room, which also has Satellite TV, music system and DVD player. Kitchen with double Rangemaster cooker and hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Separate utillty room/ boot room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. High standard of fixtures and fittings. Half acre of gardens, patio and off road parking for several cars. Fuel, power and generous starter pack for fire, bed linen and towels included in rental price.  Well behaved pets welcome.  Balgowan House is located with in the small rural hamlet of Balgowan, approximately 1 mile from the village of Laggan., which has great forest walks, climbing, horse riding, shooting and fishing. The most recent visitor attraction to Laggan is the Forestry Commission sponsored mountain bike centre , which offers a range of graded bike trails from green (easy) through to black runs for expert riders.  In the opposite direction lies the village of Newtonmore with  a range of shops, bars, restarants and cafe's. Newtonmore also offers an 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, and a bowling green. Balgowan House is only a short distance away from two of Scotlands largest skiing resorts, and water sports centres, along with a number of further, excellent golf courses.

Some of the local visitor attractions include castles, gardens, the whisky trail, coastal trails, wildlife park,  historical sites, highland folk park, funicular railway, reindeer centre, aqua theatre, a fantastic woodland/adventure park and many more.
